Does anyone out there have an informed view on the possible impact of the recent Cablevision motion to the Mass. state utility commission to review the Boston Edison/RCN joint venture? Unlike previous complaints from Cablevision, this time Massachusetts Attorney General Scott Harshbarger has filed support for Cablevision's request to re-examine utility-commission approvals needed by Boston Edison to set up the joint venture. (details available at WSJ Interactive March 16: Cable-TV Companies Fight Back As Utilities Invade Their Territory By ROSS KERBER, Staff Reporter of THE WALL STREET JOURNAL) I am seeking a calibration as to how significant this action is to RCN business (and of course, to its stock price!).
