Mark, COC is COC. I don't know of any law written or implied that states who can perform a COC. Granted Hewlett does have an interest in the success of the company but regardless of whether BD or Hewlett is performing a COC it all boils down to the knowledge and character of the person performing the work and their credibility. Just my thoughts.

Mark, I don't want to trash up this thread with Maxam stuff, but <<hewlett and the boys doing the COC>>. Hewlett is an independent contractor for Maxam. He may not have the initials BD, but is as independent as them. <<It was a sham>> You trying to start a dirt fight? <VBG>

<<I discount what maxam says becasue they had the tenacity to try and tell the market they had done coc work, when it was actually hewlett and the boys doing the COC. It was a sham, and a huge red flag>>

Mark: In the very same PR that Maxam said they had the COC done by Hewlett, they also said they are contracting for an independent 3rd party to also do COC. Therefore, I don't see that they are trying to fool anybody. Everybody knows Hewlett is a contractor for Maxam. If Maxam had not been sensitive to this issue already, they wouldn't have announced in the same PR they were arranging for an independent 3rd party COC.

<<AS far as comparisons to the ore, Henry already explained to you that it was BD that picked the spots to drill, and Naxos did not have their X-ray glasses on that day, so they could not have picked the "hot spots" as you imply>>

Nevertheless, there is a considerable variation in Naxos' ore, making it meaningless to try to extrapolate two holes to a resource, which was my original point in this discussion.

<<We will just have to wait and see how the ores end up in terms of relative richness:-)>>

I am not trying to suggest that Maxam has ore as rich, or richer than Naxos. All we know right now, if you can believe Maxam since they do not as yet have independent 3rd party COC, is they have an average of .05 opt. without factoring in increases due to hot spots. With Naxos, we know that the average value for two drill holes was .12 opt.
