"I believe that when you die, your life will be judged solely by your deeds and intentions, your willingness to love and be loved. There is nothing else." Your statement could be both true and false. It is true if your deed is to have faith in Jesus Christ as the Son of God who died as a sacrifice for your sins, and your intention is to Love God the FAther, the Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit with all of your heart and to love your neighbor as yourself. If your deeds, intentions and love mean anything else, the statement is false. God's decision to send His son to die for the sins of mankind was a profoundly serious act. It is the only source of reconciliation between God and man. Man can never experience the fullness of his humanity as a son of God without the regenerative power of the Holy Spirit who is given to man through faith in Jesus---Simple but profoundly true. The terror during the slaughter of the first born in Egypt who lacked the blood of a lamb on the door posts of their homes in Egypt will pale in comparison to the terror of an individual facing almight God without the precious Blood of Jesus--the Lamb of God-- covering the door post of our hearts. Faith in Jesus will be the only successful defense during the judgment. May the Holy Spirit enlighten your heart to this truth according to your hunger for truth. Regards Emile
