I agree with your estimate, but for 4Q.

39 at year end would be a 30% increase from beg. Jan 98.

(I know...not the high point)

This is better than bonds, CD's, Savings Account, etc.
Oh yes...it would also be better than loosing money on other
tech stocks.

My opinion would change if the management announced that
their income will be 100% corp. earnings driven and their stock
options would be donated to repurchase outstanding shares.
(when's hell freezing over?...as Loki, I should know that.)

Am I starting to smell a few pennies of earnings from CPQ?
Wonder what would happen if they took back those windfall
dividends.
