Mon 16 Mar 98 News Release
Mr D. Neil Briggs reports
A legal action has been commenced against the company by 421346 BC Ltd.
This suit pertains to certain mineral property interests in the NWT,
formerly optioned by the plaintiff to the company. The plaintiff contends
that the company failed to pay all fees necessary to maintain the
properties in good standing, and as a consequence the property interests
lapsed. The plaintiff seeks monetary damages equal to all unpaid option
payments, plus general damages. The company has entered an appearance, and
is preparing a statement of defense. It is the company's view that the
lawsuit has no merit, and the company intends to aggressively defend
itself.
