Thank you. The many eyes and hands of the ASND thread solves another one. Did someone just ask why so many of us read this thread? Could it be because of group answer power?

Thank you again for the analysis of the "problem" which our LU friend found for whatever reason they needed to find it. <G-huh>!!!

Dennis

Agreed! I am a network person and when I read the "warning" I immediately put an order to buy for <$33 in but I didn't get filled. I was hoping there might be some panic selling knowing well that these sorts of problems are usually a very easy fix.

If you think this is a big deal you'd all stampede to sell your SUNW, CISCO, BAY, MSFT and every other router/OS around if you read all the CERT bulletins warning of security holes and their patches. These bulletins are distributed on a daily basis to network administrators.

Who got the most publicity out of this? What business is Secure Networks in? The picture is clear to me. Ascend may drop further but if it's because of this "problem" it will be back in a flash.

Daniel,

Can you explain the second problem a little bit more? Have you fixed the second problem yet?

Thanks.
