MU didn't have a 18 cents gain. They had an 18 gain that offset the 41 cent loss to only a 23 cent loss.

No matter how you cut it, if MU didn't sell 90% of its manufacturing division it would of lost at least 41 cents. MUEI also had an operational loss and not a gain. I think MU knows that most people can't read a Q report and did this on purpose.

That 18 cent one time gain comes right out of their book price anyway. What happens if they don't sell anything next Q, MU has another 40+ cent loss Q. Analyst will have to revise MU's earnings downward and down grade the stock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
