Asyst is also the largest holding in my portfolio. I own shares all over the place, from a pre-split 16 to a post-split 33 and I'm still buying. Asyst is one stock I do not trade because I can't bear to part with a single share. I expect to own the stock for at least five years barring deep-seated, fundamental change. Doug McCutcheon and Terry Moshier are doing a great job running the company. Asyst will be one of the few semi equips likely to grow earnings in calendar year 98, which should earn the company a higher valuation following this quarter's report. If it doesn't, just buy more. I'm betting buy and holders like me (make that buy, buy, buy and hold) will be very happy going out a few years.
