Jack, I don't have a link to follow Japanese interest rates, however any rate increase there will be a major story and will be all over the internet when it happens. Most likely it will be announced while most Americans are sleeping. I continue to believe that our markets will correct due to the crisis in Japan as it accelerates. The 1929 stock market crash started in England first, this time it will be Japan that triggers it. Many of their major banks are now rated by Moody's as junk. The Bank of Japan was raided last week by investigators, and their Central Bank governor (Greenspan's counterpart} has threatened to resign. April 1st is judgement day there, and I predict that our current market run will end before then, most likely March 23 which coincides with one of Gann's 4 major seasonal dates (March 22}.
