What do you CS investors make of this?? CS, in conjunction with Agfa, a division of Bayer Corp.,will provide defense military hopsitals & fed medical treatment facilities with SmartSwitches, digital radiology, diagnostic imaging and teleradiology software tools via advanced computer networks.
The new contract, awarded by the Defense Logistics Agency, is the
Digital Imaging Network-Picture Archiving and Comm. Sys. contract
(DIN-PACx)-a newtork of digital devices for the purpose of acquiring,
transmitting, displaying and storing diagnostic images.
Agfa has selected Cabletron's 9000,6000 and 2200 SmartSwitch products
for the contract. Added to the $250 million first-year contract are four
1-year option periods totaling a potential of $1.25 billion over the
next 5 years.
