They are both collaborators as well as competitors-they can both make COBOL y2k compliant. This is what CA has done for Isuzu and this deal was just announced by CA. This deal has no relevance for IAIC. Where IAIC comes in is when CA is given a deal to make one of their specialty languages(ADS, Easytrieve, or Ideal) y2k compliant. Here CA uses an IAIC tool-UNICAST 2000-and IAIC gets a cut. As for the share price going down, there have been no announcements lately. Hopefully this will change soon. Remember, CA is committed to using UNICAST 2000 for all the specialty language they get for y2k work.
