Engineering departments frequently change the course of product development. Often, matters that seem cast in stone change as rapidly as we change our socks. One thing you can depend upon is the ineluctable modality of change. A lot of engineering development depends upon shifting interpersonal relationships. Promises seem to be made, and just as easily broken. And, as things change, one would be wise not to grasp at every straw along the way. Many investors are too narrowly focused on the one issue of the Geo Metro, and then of the Contour. Don't forget that BAT International also has the generator project, the Ultraforce Batteries. the Global Green Cars, the electric bicycles and the fleet diesel rebuilding projects. Possibly the generator project may come to fruition before the Contour is ready for its test.
