Not a squeeze. There are some real buyers in the stock.

Amerindo and Fido have been betting that AVNT will shake off their legal problems. They've been supporting the stock, otherwise it would have fallen to the low single digits. Amerindo owns 20% (I believe).

Right now it is just time to get out of the way while AVNT conducts its new hype and misinformation campaign. I covered in the low to mid teens. I will reshort as soon as more compelling negative information surfaces. For all we know AVNT may be succesful in delaying the criminal proceeedings for another year or two.

If AVNT had no products and no earnings (ala ZITL, ZONA, CCSI, etc.) I would have simply averaged up, but in this case the slim chance of a favorable court ruling could suddenly turn this into a momentum stock, a chance I wasn't willing to take considering the excellent profit I had in the bag and the fact that there are much better fish to fry.
