*OT* I've been using farsight and DLJ, both have surcharges, but
both also cap the surcharges at 5% of the principle with a $20 overriding minimum. (ie: you always pay at least $20) I know Datek,
(which doesn't trade OTC) won't take orders of greater than 5K shares,
but don't the other brokers put a cap on the surcharges also?

5% on a $1000 trade is $50. Which is reasonable compared to the local full service types. (and farsight has the best customer service of any company I've every dealt/worked with/bought from _ever_)
