Give us a break... 1 of AMAT's large orders in any particular quarter is more than MTSN's Annual revenues from all customers. I wouldn't look at a MTSN warning as being the end of the world. (even though I personally hold more shares of MTSN than any other Equipment stock) Every quarter, 1/3 of the companies warn, 2/3 of the companies meet or beat estimates.

Why should this quarter be any different?

Yes, their austerity measures are a big deal for the MTSN folk, but that's a far cry from the whole industry being devastated.

We've already heard the leaders declare that the next 3-4 quarters will be slow. Do you have anything factual to add?
