Earlie, I especially appreciated the guy on the Micron thread who said we couldn't talk about MU's costs because we didn't know them exactly. Hey, in nuclear bombs, close is good enough. -g-

The only problem is, Dell may have one last good quarter, at which point it is the only stock in the tech industry and will rally all the stocks heading south. I know that sounds ludicrous, but some guy on CNBC actually postulated that as a reason to buy techs. It might be a reason to buy Dell if Dell were reasonably priced, but it is sure no reason to buy anything else.

There was a funny article in the Houston Chronicle this morning. Some CEO from a distributor was stating that all of Compaq's price cuts were on old boxes and monitors that were "dogs." (He, of course, had none of these pcs in inventory because he suckered into the build to order scam. -g- ) Anyway, he made one comment that the monitors being offered were 15" monitors. "I suppose a few businesses still use these 15" monitors." I chuckled at that. When I visit businesses that have a lot of pcs, I rarely see the larger monitors. They are the exception, not the rule.
