Rudedog, I could be wrong, but I don't think cpq wants to be in the sub 1k on the consumer or the commercial level (that would be thin client in my estimation). Common sense only but the low margin business spells death as far as I'm concerned. I think cpq is in the process of "reinventing" itself. High-end = high tech = DEC and Tandem = proprietary computing = big margins. That's a multiple tautology if there is such a thing but it does make sense, at least in the abstract. Have any thoughts? dulane
