dj, do you thoroughly understand the difference between between gross and net cost and why net cost is more important now?

mu's asp was slightly higher than their gross cost and they lost nearly $100 million this q.

psss - take a look at their cash flow (out of the company ;-)

Am I the only one cynical enough to think that maybe these "test capacity constraints" were a cover for deliberately holding back product from the market?

Regardless of what the stock does tomorrow, there is little doubt that this POS will be below $20 in the near term. This stock ran up the last few months based on pure speculation and a short lived increase in DRAM pricing. Todays report showed, however, that things have gotten much worse, not better. Yes, there are still some morons who will continue to be long on Mu. Most, however, including the big boys who have made their money on the runup from $22, will bail. MU may not be in business this time next year.
