Thread

first off ditto Sergio

Good TA news. APCO is once again using its IL as support. Looks to be shaping into a ascending triangle which it broke out of yesterday only to settle back in line with the overhead resistance. Once again I have much trouble finding a indicator which says to sell. IMO APCO will break the ascending triangle and have a nice run up to a new range. I do not even want to venture a guess on its new range area as my "dreamer" IL is WAY UP THERE.

Note to the thread. This once again confirms that TA is not the strongest factor in stock selection. The fundamentals are extremely strong on APCO. I like to use TA for buy and sell decisions because it does give optimal points of entry and exit. In general TA works very well, however, with APCO the rules are being broken as it continues its high wire act. Only APCO is not walking on a wire, it has secure footing on a 100' wide solid steel bridge and its running like the speed of light. I relenquished my trading shares the other day because I had to due to rules set out for myself. If I don't follow my rules in every scenario then in the long run I will be burned more than rewarded. APCO type stocks are not a dime a dozen and I thank Cary once again for bring it to the attention of the 3 Amigos thread.

happy trades
David

Dear Sergio,

I hate to admit it too, but I ended up selling my last 1000 today at 11 1/2 right before the buying brought it up to 11 15/16. Sold some in the mid 10's too. Really thought it would correct back into the 9's. No complaints, and only a little regret ;-o

Have no fear, you will not see me post with attempts to try and "talk the stock" back to where I sold it !

If this one follows RECY or ABTX, it still has yet to experience it's irrational pure vertical day ! With techs starting to correct, APCO is a great Asia proof play.

Regards,
Chris
