There is a lot more to TSIG then Compact. Did you ever think that the Compact negatives can be turned around by TSIG. You are not seeing the WHOLE PICTURE!!!

Rick, thanks for the post on Compact Connection's customer dissatisfaction. After about ten tries with Netscape timing out every time, I gave up on that URL.

The good news is, all of those posts are about a year old or older. I wonder how they are performing now.

It's great news if they have been absolutely swamped with orders. This makes sense if you look at their projected growth rate from revenues of $14 million in 1997 to $35 million in 1998. Even more revealing, the Feb 19 TSIG press release about the CC acquisition stated that Compact Connection had 1.5 million customers in 1997 and "expects its client base to grow to over 10 million in the next two years". Hope its not all hype. If it's true, it's really fantastic and explains their growing pains.

It also explains why this deal makes sense. There's a lot of potential synergy here whereby TSIG can improve service to the incoming calls.
