Once again, as much as I HOPE that this volume is pre acquisition / good news volume, I have a feeling it may very well be people covering their short orders! It seems to me that no one on this board has even considered this scenario. For all we know, the powers that be have decided on a reverse split in the 3/4/5-1 range and have leaked that information.

I see mergers and buyouts as an unlikely short-term option.
