You got it!!! Big time!! Bingo! Corporate IT department budgets are dedicated to fixing the millennium bug by 12/31/1999 as their number one priority. No other projects will be considered until this problem is solved. The problem is closer then many companies thought because 1/1/1999 is one year from 2000. Figure it out. How would you like to state in your annual report or 10K per new SEC rules that your system is not compliant with Y2K, and may crash? Pent up demand will be released into the hardware market in 1999 and 2000. Some may have to totally replace systems before then if they can not solve the problem.
