This from DLP last quarter:
Delta and Pine Land Company (NYSE: DLP), a commercial breeder, producer and marketer of cotton planting seed, today announced results for the first quarter ended November 30, 1997. Due to the seasonal nature of the seed business, DLP typically incurs losses in its first and fourth fiscal quarters.

DLP is an interesting company. SInce this is the second quarter it's going to post a nice gain. It is in a pullback stage after previously run up. It was recently upgraded and it's technical chart is fine, albeit an overbought condition that is now correcting itself. Since it is not scheduled to report until next monday, it's ample time to re-enter the company as soon as its finished correcting.
