Mark,

If you get a chance I have a low-priced stock that I'd like your ta opinion on. Price down to .62 from the $14-15 range?. It's MFN - Mercury Financial. This is the co. that got popped for cooking the books a year ago. Last mo they brought the old 10Q&K's up to date. Excerpt from 2/26/98.

''We are extremely pleased to be in compliance with the SEC filing requirements for the first time since the accounting irregularities were discovered in January of 1997,'' said William A. Brandt, Jr., president and chief executive officer of Mercury. ''We fully expect to file the 1997 year- end 10-K in a timely fashion before the end of March.''

Chart looks boring but what do I know.

Regards,
ms

Thanks to both Lizard and yourself for the SIGA update. LZ, I did admit it was a poor choice of words.

Please checkout IMIC. Some accumulation the last few days. Last week, I asked about IMIC and you indicated that you wouldn't be a buyer unless you saw it in a lower range. Well a week later along with a ton of others mentioned here, it's moving up. Last week Fidelity Group said they increased their holdings to over 6%. May be worth a look. TIA
