Looks like were hitting bottom - everyone is starting to say that BAY is a loser again. I guess we'll start moving up soon.

I've seen several posts (don't remember which boards) that state that BAY is heavily discounting Accelar products - 40-55% off. Can anyone at BAY tell if these post are accurate. I don't believe that BAY needs to discount that much. The products have been received well and are in demand. I thought the problem was getting production up enough to meet demand. These are probably just short-seller rumors, but thought I'd try to get a little clarification.

adam-

<<Why haven't COMS and ASND fallen this much? This only proves that BAY is a real laming duck worth avoiding at all costs>>

I think my record on this thread indicates I speak to you as a friend- or at least someone who approaches you with good will. But the facts you cite prove no such thing. I find you frequently make sweeping pronouncements based on tenuous evidence at best. I'm not sure whether you think you are expressing a well thought out point of view, or if you a simply trying to goad people. I've never seen it contribute to the general level of discourse on this thread, however. Your point of view might be helpful to the cause of intelligent discourse if you could provide a considered defense of your position- otherwise you're just venting.

It may be true that bad news about BAY has leaked to institutional investors. I for one won't sell based purely on such speculation. Can you justify your comment that institutions "keep on dumping and dumping and dumping the stock"? Has BAY's percentage of institutional ownership changed significantly in recent months? Have you monitored large trades in BAY for a selling pattern?? If you have, then please cite your facts when posting- otherwise your posts are meaningless.

<<One might as well stick with the winner CSCO even though its selling at a high price.CSCO will always be rewarded no matter what.>>

If you believe that, then by all means own Cisco and avoid Bay. I for one like to avoid stocks with a P/E of 50 and a P/S of 10- so I've sold my entire CSCO holdings in recent months on that basis.

We are admittedly in a trying period for BAY shareholders. As things now stand, if we get back to the teens, I'm going to back the truck up. Based on the fundamentals, I've seen nothing to make me want to sell, but I'm always open to considered contrarian opinion- that's one of the delights of SI. Unfortunately, I do not find that your posts qualify.

Regards,

Larry
