Bill,

I read that briefing and have been aware of the Nasdaq's desire to try to make their system an open book, similar to the NYSE's. This would provide better executions to the individual investor, although, I dont think the market makers will enjoy losing some of their dominance in the process.

Basically it means, when you put in an order to buy at 10 1/8 and the stock is 10 to 10 1/4, it should immediatley reflect your bid, no 30 , 90 second manning rules. Also, if someone came with order to sell at 10 1/8, you should be crossed with them instantly.

Looks like a good system. Wonder what is taking so long...? :)
