Ignacio, Are you saying that the moon is below freezing all the way to the center? I kind of doubt it. There ought to be a place several miles below the surface where it is warm enough to melt ice. The energy source would mainly be radioactive decay, just like on Earth. The pressures that far down would prevent the water from boiling, if it exists there. I have personally done experiments where bacteria have survived 35,000 psi of pressure, and we know that life exists in deep ocean trenches at those kind of pressures with no problem. You have not shown me any reason to rule out life on the moon. We'll just have to wait and see, won't we?
