Merril Lynch comes out bashing chip stocks again. Focused on the slowing and the PC business and the companies that supply that industry - Intel, AMD, NSM. Had some positive comments on Texas Intruments and VLSI though. Said that since they are focusing on the telecommunications area, shouldn't slow down with the PC chip makers. No mention of LSI, but this is right where LSI is playing also - networkers and wireless. Lets hope the market can figure out what LSI really does and reward it correctly.
