Tokyo,
News this morning on TX on Bloomberg re: Syntroleum.

Syntroleum said its process to convert natural gas into diesel and other fuels is economically viable even at lower world oil prices. "While it is possible at current oil prices, it will become even more economic over time" said mark Agee, CEO of Syntroleum speaking at the Sixth Annual Middle East Oil and Gas conference. Agee said r&d of the company's convwersion technology is expected to make it viable in many markets even if lower prices become a permanent factor of the global oil market. The Company licenses the proprietary technology to 7 companies including Texaco, Atlantic Richfiels, Marathon Oil/. Agee said acceptance of the technology hs jumped in the last year as the industry's initial curiosity has expanded into serious consideration in projects around the world. "We believe we can reduce to cost of a (gas to liquids) facility to that of an oil refinery. The technology is expected to allow commercial development of as many ass 900 trillion cubic feet of natural gas in areas too far from amrkets to justify building a pipeline or too small for the expenses of liquifying the gas for transport by tanker.
