NEW NAME FOR INT COMPANY: WORLD TOUCH COMMUNICATIONS

Is that your creation?

How about Bell-Air? Touchlantic? Cell-Bell?

Dear John Nail:

The problem with Air Touch selling their domestic operations to BA is that ATI has a very bright future domestically since it has an exclusive distribution services contract with GlobalStar. The fact that ATI has several of such contracts throughout the world is what makes ATI one of the most attractive companies (besides WorldCom) in the wireless/satellite communications sector. If ATI is to be bought out or merged the deal has to fit ATI's global model, and BA would only stifle or kill that model since it is well known that the Baby Bells are every thing but dynamic; particularly when they are still in the middle a legal battle with the FFC because they are unable to open up competition.

I think investors are getting restless, only because ATI's stock price does not move as fast a other stocks. To me this is only a plus becuase it reflects that ATI's fundamentals are very stable. The stock does not show the volatility that characterizes this market. This means that whenever there is a correction (and it seems that we are having those more frecuently) ATI can hold one's portfolio in a more stable manner.

Have a sice day.
Nilda
