John,

I see the crossing as inevitable within two weeks. Fido
and friends will have a lot of explaining to do if they
are holding this one on March 31, and they don't like
explaining. But I will max out my credit cards and go
long if it doesn't happen and MU closes above a the
crossing, because the only thing stronger than this TA is
a *failure* of this TA.

Max out credit cards? The worst thing is to be right one day after the margin call:-)

Keep your powder dry and try not to get greedy. That is what does most people in...and I mean the smartest people.

Good Luck Trading

DavidG

what the NY Times said:
Analysts had on average expected a loss of 17 cents a share, according
to First Call, which tracks earnings forecasts. However, published
estimates ranged from 3 cents to 29 cents, with some analysts privately
advising clients of a potential loss as high as 40 cents. The actual
loss, excluding the one-time gain, was 41 cents a share.

Calling all bears, the world might not have to wait for the 50-DMA and the 200-DMA to cross! Today MU spent the entire day soundly below the 50-DMA. I gotta get to the bank and pull out a few 100-dollar bills to light next week's cigars with.

great charting with various moving averages at

p.s. the 20-DMA and the 50-DMA look like the collision course of choice
