CNBC indicating oil is down another 31&#162. And I guess Pisani is going to talk about the sector. Mentioning FLC having broken critical support.

Interesting note on NE that I saw on AOL the other day. Thought I'd pass on a little perspective from a factual tidbit on this day of dismal activity..... At an oil service breakfast in Houston last week, James Day (NE's CEO) noted that 1/2 of NE's rigs are K'd thru 1st qtr of 2000.

I'm sure others are in similar positions.

Big Dog: did you go to this breakfast?

Keep perspective people! Take advantage of these dives. Buy when all hope seems lost based on what actual value is, not when fear or greed call for it. It has always worked for me. :)

Do you mean higher highs and higher lows? That trend is still in place unless we get below 95 on the OSX (it's at 96 right now). The stochastic system is still accurate, it has yet to give a buy signal on any of these stocks. I jumped the gun yesterday and last week, since I'm bullish this sector, I didn't want to wait and decided to get some bargains. Unfortunately, those bargains were nothing compared to what you can get today. Next time I will wait for the buy signal, live and learn.

The daily stochastics system has worked well for a down and trading range (flat) trend. It will cause me to sell too soon in a rising trend.
