I am beginning to wonder if the options players have not picked 30 for expiration. They love to jack this stock around, and I don't think 30 is out of the question.

Are we going to start seeing a support effect from writers of puts?

Hmmm. I think I just answered my own question. According to CBOE, the open interest for 30 puts is 7.4K, and for 35 it's 8.4K (the largest single put type). So there will probably not be much positive help from them because there's not a pronounced concentration at a single strike price.

When you are a company least understood in terms of products and business plan its very easy to jostle its shares around. Besides occasional blocks being sold (see some being bought as well) most of the dumping is small share amounts.
Incidentally this is across all high tech shares. Reminds me of early 96 where euphoria over high tech was followed by extreme dumping because of semiconductor glut followed by few more bouts of speculative buying and dumping.
High tech company stocks are sadly not a long term growth vehicle as they used to be rather they are quick 30-50% makers and then the money quickly flows out into large cap stocks who are lumbering at excessive valuations and slowing growth (but who cares if the collective thinks they are a safe haven).
