But the most recent liftoff has left me almost hoping that Bob would scream "GET OUT NOW". I envy you! :-) As for me, I have a 50/25/25 US-Stock/Intl-Stock/US-Bond portfolio, and rebalance it once every 6 months in my tax-deferred accounts, or whenever there is a 20% drift (i.e. 50 becomes 40 or 60, and 25 becomes 20 or 30) in my taxable accounts. I feel that when I make minor adjustments like that, I am less tempted to undo the changes. With "all or nothing" market-timing strategies, one faces the daunting task of having to be right twice, and the sheer magnitude of the moves makes it impossible to be unemotional about it. Dipy.
