Any discussion on equipment and particular stocks is welcome. I wanted to thank Jess, and Ron for the quality posts on the more general matter of Asia. Understanding the economic situation in Asia, present and likely future, is essential for gauging when Blood is running in the streets for Semi-Equips. These companies are not explicitly mentioned in recent posts, but they are very much affected. It would be easy to argue that the "Asian flu" is the primary reason most semiequip stocks are sitting 50% off their highs of 6 months ago.

I see the intelligent discussion of the Asian economic situation as 100 per cent relevant to the subject of this thread, given that we would all very much like to know when the downturn is going to be over.
