Mr. Doolittle, Again, according to Merrill the news of the Japan connection is contained in an 8k filed by Nextel International on March 2. "This system already has 40,000 subscribers which are dispatch only. However, the system comes with interconnect rights and plans to have interconnect service in Tokyo this summer. Japan would bring NXTL's total proportionate international pops up from 144.9 million to 171.2 million."

Arnie, ML has come to the party kinda late. I would put more credibility behind Walter Piecyk of PW. He has made the call of domestic cash flow positive in 1998Q2 and company cash flow positive 1998Q3. He has been on the button with new add forecasts for both Q3 and Q4 1997. His increase update on 1997 Q3 caused stock to pop up to 32 last year. He is also ex-nextel employee. Think the Bubbster has a line to him. He was going to give more frequent updates on NXTL. Last one I saw was 2/2/98. His forecast of new adds was 348K. Q3 cash flow of 31 million positive. Q2 cash flow of (6million). Twelve month price target of 45.

Maybe Bubba knows if Walter has changed his new add number or projection on when company will go cash flow positive?

One of the reps did say he thought that contracts for Nextel service were coming in the future. Probably part ofa really good minute deal or maybe a multiple phone deal. In SLC and Denver Nextel service is month to month with no contract required.

Arnie, where I live we don't have cable. Barely have telephone service. Do have a small dish and am told will be able to get internet connection soon. I hook up now at about 24000 bps, even though my modem has 56k capablities. Truly the world wide wait for me.

If Nextel hits 55 this year the party is at your house.

Mark
