A reversal seems to be true. ASCEND is starting to reverse as we speak (reverse UP that is). Can it keep it UP?

The "analyst" today on CNBC didn't make much sense. He said ASND has a growth rate of 23% and 30 PE, said this PE compared favorably with a 40 PE for the communications industry, and said he wanted companies with a PE lower than their growth rate. Since Wall Street looks forward, based on Ashby's statements, ASND will soon move into sequential growth in the teens or an annual growth rate over 40%, not 23%. ASND is moving into the sweet spot of a new product cycle. It seems ASND is undervalued using this analysis.

The "analyst" then recommended CSCO. If I understand correctly, CSCO's PE (40 or so) is higher than its 30% or so growth rate. In addition, it should be much easier for the much smaller ASND to have a higher growth rate than the much larger CSCO. This "analyst" should find another job IMHO.

I believe ASND is getting hit mostly because of the worries about BAY. BAY -1, CSCO -1 and COMS -1.5. djane
