<there is a shift in trend from a PC-driven market to one driven by telecommunications>

I happen to agree with this. I think that desktops with low priced
processing power are now ubiquitous.

The weak link is now delivering internet content to households
at an acceptable speed. Leading networkers such as Cisco and
Lucent should continue to do well.

I don't think ADSL should be the standard in delivery, but that
broadband cable should, as only broadband can deliver video-
conferencing and on demand movies with acceptable speed.

Perhaps a company like @home will be the next big thing. I
also think YHOO is way overvalued!

MSFT has always surprised to the upside on stock valuation, and
why should this year and next year be any different?

Really a little secret here. All of the businesses in the world are going to dump their computers and return to IBM selectrics (or clones). So it is time to get into the white-out stocks and carbon paper stocks.
