Am not worried about your attempts to " enlighten" me.

Am worried about keeping the unity of the Spirit because there is "one body, one Spirit, one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father.

So if you keep calling me liar, dense, damned, then YOU shall be known by your words.

Apple trees don't grow oranges.

Whats the next chapter of your book o learned one?? How will you confuse next? You even have me straying from "thus sayeth the Lord"

The Highlights
or
Maces only.

The medieval Christian's had Biblical strictures against using edged weapons. I would really appreciate it if someone everyone trusts like maybe Shalom would point out why. The mace, a crushing weapon, was developed so that the enemy could be cheerfully crushed while avoiding breaking the Law.

DCF takes offense at Graystones use of the mace, perhaps not realizing that his confusion is obvious.

DCF, if you feel that I have called you all those things then I have little hope of relating to you. What you fail to realize is that damning is not my business no matter what I believe. I would never call you a liar, unless you lied. I wouldn't damn anyone.
On a final note, I believe your knowledge of botany is insufficient to the question at hand, let us Ask God.

Dear Father
Should we have a Botany 101 class ?
Should we accuse of people of untrue things ?

Christians
or
Scripture

Does it matter how well people think they understand what God say's in the Bible if they don't practice it at all. Clearly people would have had an opinion on the issue of blacks during the American Civil War, clearly people have a position on Hitler.

Belief would have led just as certainly to death on either side. Education makes us what we think and anyone who fails to see this is doomed to repeat another war with both sides claiming that Christ is clearly on their side because the "Bible says". The flat earth society still exists on this thread.

Go Ahead and Be a Christian, it is not easy. You have to love God and love your neighbor "that you might have life", once you have this "life" you must "confess Jesus as Saviour and Lord and believe in your heart that He is the Son of God". Once these requirements are met the only thing that you worry about is the people who would convince you that it can be done any other way, like by a book, or by deeds. You are to encourage others to understand as you do and accept as you do and continue doing the things that redeemed you. It isn't easy.

No room for intolerance there, about anything actually. It doesn't matter what the Bible says if you read the Bible and believe it.

It says some things that got Hitler going, wonder what he read in there.

What do you think the Quakers actually did during the Civil War. Do you imagine they were doing the " it says here ; slaves respect your masters" or did they just ignore the popular sentiment of the moment and risk their lives doing Christ's work ignoring the clear evidence that it was OK to have slaves given in the Bible.

Christ himself demonstrated this often, choosing things clearly forbidden under the Law and doing them to demonstrate his point.
