Open Interest is definitely an indicator of how deep a market is in Option Trading.

The Market Makers in LOR on the CBOE provide deep liquid markets.
If your option order to buy or sell LOR is in line with the market parameters, it is the job of the trader on the CBOE to execute your order.

Whether you buy or sell an option, you should only be concerned with your own bullish or bearish sentiment. The professional trader will take the opposite side of your trade and then hedge that order with the underlying stock or another option.

By looking at the open interest in LOR options, you should not have a problem executing an order.
