In general yes. But I've seen it happen (post conversion hype). I think it is to help flush out shares left over from covering their short position. Either way it is entirely hypothetical in this case.

Yes, ESVS and NETZ are two separate entities financially. However, some on this thread say otherwise, that they are as good as married.

Financially they are currently only two companies with equity in each other. I doubt if one is fully liable for the other.
