Brian - Re: "The problem has been Intel and its unfair business practices....FTC..."

Now, now, now... blame it on a superior competitor!

Pray that the US government institutes welfare for the incompetent CPU manufacturers.

Blame it on Intel --- for the K5 SuperDog design!

Blame it on Intel --- for the MegaFlop 25 p*ss poor yields.

Blame it on Intel --- for the slower speed of the K6.

Blame it on Intel --- for the superior patented Slot 1 and Slot 2 concepts.

Blame it on Intel --- for stripping Jerry from his Rolls Royce Limo, forcing him to lower shareholder's costs with a Mercedes Limo.

Blame it on the Stones.

Paul

Hutch,
Re -- more later from the FTC on that,

Have you emailed the FTC. If not you should do so immediately. The evil Intel is taking over the world.

I also suggest you email your Govt, demanding an inquiry.

Brian
in case of AMD inventory might be healthy. We have no new oems sign-ups recently mainly because of the shortages and resulting problems with cybermax. A bit of assurance would not hurt even if it might drive prices even lower.
