Who gives flying care about "what if" things? CVUS is down, and I don't feel a bottom right now. Although, I still stay long. I was lucky I had cash to cover margin call, but a lot of people were burned heavily when CVUS went below 5$/share and became non-marginable.
I'll stay long till at least quarterly report, which should be by end of this month.

Karl, I respect your deep convictions for this stock. But you can't take "what if" to the bank. Regarding the auction, remember that the incumbents were ONLY excluded from bidding in their own markets - if SBC wanted to bid for NY they could have and chose not to do so. Also, LD carriers were not prevented from bidding. You should have at least an little anger though towards strategis group for hyping that bullshit $25/pop number, talk about missing the boat.

My thoughts on best case / worst case scenario at this point. I actually think that the BEST case is for the auction to be over prior to 4Q earnings report. Upon completion of the auction, NextBand and WNP are likely to come forward with their business plans which will generate positive publicity for the technology and hence this stock. I have a hunch that there is more than meets the eye about WNP. Related, I think the WORST case scenario is for the auction to still be going on when 4Q report is released.

Keep the faith.
