Christine, sitting in church with someone is a lot different than spending 40 hrs a week with them in close confines. For such a position, for which I was personally paying the wages and working closely with them, certainly I will choose someone whom is compatible with my personal credo.

Again I have to ask, how many gays have you paid the wages for, while they worked in your home?

Let me put it another way: If, during the interview process for hiring someone to help me in my self-employed business, I was interviewing a man, and he answered questions to indicated that he didn't think very much of good business ethics, I wouldn't hire him, because that doesn't fit my personal credo.

If the person I was hiring seemed too quiet and shy, I might not like that, or I might like that. It's MY decision, because I'm hiring them for the ONLY paid position in my self-employed enterprise, so I'm going to be darn picky, and so if you don't like that, then lump it.

Dear Christine, Dwight, Michael, Thomas, Jane and All. The homosexual issue has polarized this thread over the past week or so. Many of us have said things in anger to each other that we really do not mean to say.

Dwight, I am reaching out to you in peace. Let's drop the subject altogether.

Christine, you are a very creative person. Perhaps you could come up with a topic for discussion that is just as interesting but a little less divisive.

Remember, the holiest of Christian days is approaching and out of respect for all the Christians posting here, let's talk about something else

yours truly
