Re If you are fomenting intolerance and bigotry and prejudice, these all make a difference, and your feelings do impact on the lives of others. I really don't have anything further to say.

You might think about how depressed you've made me for simply being a Christian. I happened to be born into a Christian family, so it came kind of naturally. Now that I've grown up and realized how odd it is to have religious values, I feel like a cast-out from society. Maybe I'll turn to drugs and alcohol to drown my misery. I hope I can recover from my brush with prejudices in the real world, but in the event therapy doesn't work and I am faced with the fact that I am who I was born as, maybe I'll simply throw myself in front of a semi-truck.

Obviously my previous post was a parody Christine, but there is some elements of truth to it. Society in general is not exactly "friendly" towards conservative Christians. If you grew up in the shoes I did, you would know that.
