I would second the notion of changing the subject. I think a non-polarizing subject would be in order for a change. Perhaps we should discuss something that has far less hysterical baggage associated with it and something people generally can agree on, like say a woman's right to have an abortion. At least this isn't something that is likely to stir up conservative Christians.
