Greg,

what is your take on the overall revenue and unit growth for PC in US this year? My comment is based on reports that the unit growth is projected to be in the 10-15% this year and my guess that with the recent price cut the ASP should go down 10-15% if not more YTY. Hence we will have a flat to slightly lower revenue this year for the entire industry. Since my position on Dell and CPQ are entirely based on my perception of the industry dynamics and PC supply and demand, I would greatly appreciate any thoughts that you can share with me.

Greg,

I totally agree. PC penetration still in early stages. Though the US is well ahead of the curve with 40+% PC-households, rest of the world is largely well under 10%. Huge untapped market for PCs in regions where DELL has built (and will build) its overseas plants.
