Noorda's move

This is a very important action the trust is taking. Noorda was absolutely right in understanding that legal anti-trust action against MSFT was the only way Novell could get a level playing field on which to prove its superior products. We saw the proof of that when MSFT stepped over the line on NDS for NT.

On the Internet, he moved his own assets into Caldera before the Novell BOD appears to have recognized an Internet market existed. There are no industry leaders on that BOD. They can't even attend annual meetings because it conflicts with their schedules! Can you beleive that only two of these BOD members showed up last year.

I don't care if Young doesn't get taken out so long as we get some BOD members that can facilitate the partnerships that this BOD is unable to effect with players in the industry. Just give us two BOD members that understand the Internet. Give us a Jim Clark.

Can anyone possibly take this company seriously as a turnaround candidate and an Internet player with the current BOD with its history of massive mistakes still sitting there? Its a joke. No one even believes Schmidt is in charge. Its almost like they brought him in to finally get some real software products out the door when someone clued them in on the fact that Novell is a software company.

Software...what's that?

Its time for some resignations.

Noorda's move should have the support of all those shareholders that want a Novell that can succeed.
