No problem DB.

The pool itself cost 25K (according to the previous owner)
It is an 18 x 36 in-ground with a diving board and a monster sand filter.

I believe the pool volume is around 25 to 30 thousand gallons.

It's a real pain to maintain it at first ... I had to relearn basic
chemistry and balance the PH, measure total alkalinity, maintain
chlorine, etc. I spend close to 30 minutes a day vacuuming, skimming
and checking the chemicals.

It's very expensive to run the pool heater and the pump.
last year it cost me 2k to run the pool for 4 months.
I wish I could just drain the water and fill the pool with dirt, cement the sucker and build a basketball court.

It's really not worth having a pool when you live in the windy city.

BTW, for those of you interested, Geoff Moore has a new book
called "The Gorilla Game." (He is the same dude who wrote "Indside
the Tornado." It's an awesome book ...

He also mentioned in the book the he is not convinced the NSCP is dead
and continues to invest in them. However, he believes the MSFT is
the KING KONG of all Gorillas and hence, they invest double in em.

Check out the thread on SI ... search for Gorilla.
