Bill,

You should screen through Compaq board to see how valuable it is to
sell sub$1000 machines to realize how terrible it is when the
inventory was piled up with such stuff.

I personally sympathize Compaq's situation since we, as Apple's
investors, have been through that period during Dr. Gil's "three year"
dreaming plan. Luckily, we have passed that painful period.

I just don't understand why you stay on this thread rather than Wintel
threads, such as Compaq, Dell, Gateway, Intel, Microsoft.

It doesn't help us much to review your posts from investors viewpoint.
And, we all know what you try to say from your first several posts. It
seems you have a nice temper and patience. If you could say more
about how Apple stock will go in the near, mid and long ranges,
instead of saying too much Wintel stuff, then most of investors here
will be more appreciated.
